Description:
The Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association offers a competitive internship program with hands-on experience in the cotton ginning industry. This opportunity includes great compensation, provided housing, a potential career pathway, and the chance to work in two different locations over the summer.

Designed for upperclassmen, this internship introduces students to cotton ginning, cottonseed oil mills, cotton warehousing operations, and modern ginning technology and equipment.

The internship is structured in two phases. During the first half, interns will be based in West Texas near Lubbock, working with a gin as it prepares for the upcoming season. During the second half, interns will transition to South Texas to experience the working environment of an operating gin.

Interns will gain experience in cotton marketing, financial decision-making, safety practices, employee management, machinery troubleshooting, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Applicants should be classified as juniors or higher.

The Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) is offering internship opportunities for Fall 2026. Interns will gain hands-on experience working within one of the nation’s largest and oldest livestock associations while learning about cattle industry advocacy, communications, membership, events, and policy initiatives.

This internship provides students with the opportunity to work directly with industry professionals and gain valuable experience supporting Texas and Southwestern cattle producers.

Applicants should have strong communication and organizational skills, an interest in the agricultural industry, and the ability to work in a professional office environment.
