Texas seed growers provide plant seed for the production of food, feed and fiber for people and animal consumption. Additionally, on farms, ranches and dairies, forage and even fuels depend on seed. Without robust, consistent seed, wildlife habitats, ecosystem restoration and soil conservation would falter.
The Texas Seed Trade Association serves as the organizational framework for advancing the collective professional interests, continuing education and public policy goals of Texas seed providers and allied industries.
Additionally, the TSTA Foundation and its contributors are dedicated to supporting the future of Texas through the education of young people at Texas Universities. The Foundation currently provides 13 annual college scholarships to deserving individuals.
